Program and Services

Adults living in any New Mexico Long-Term Care Facility can access an Aging and Long-Term Services Ombudsman.

New Mexico’s older and disabled adults need advocates like you.

New Mexico’s older and disabled adults often require dedicated advocates to ensure their rights and well-being are upheld. As an Ombudsman, you will serve as a crucial voice for residents in long-term care facilities, providing support and advocacy when they need it most. Join a community of compassionate individuals committed to enhancing the safety, dignity, and quality of life for our older adults.

In this role, you will:
– Ensure that residents receive the rights and care they deserve.
– Help investigate and resolve concerns within care facilities.
– Act as a mediator and advocate for residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Become an Ombudsman and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who depend on our support and advocacy.
