Registration is open for the Conference on Aging

SANTA FE – Registration for the 47th Annual New Mexico Conference on Aging is now open through August 29.

This year’s event will take place at the Glorieta Conference Center from September 23 – 25 and is presented by the Aging and Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) and the Anchorum Health Foundation.

This year’s conference theme, “EngAGE as you Age,” will focus on healthy aging and vibrant living. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in informative sessions, recreational activities, and get connected with important resources.

“Whether you are a caregiver, community member, or older adult, this conference offers a chance to connect, learn, and take part in meaningful conversations that shape how we care for one another,” said Secretary Emily Kaltenbach, ALTSD. “It is a powerful reminder that aging is something we do best together.”

Registration cost is $40 and includes:

  • Access to all keynote presentations, breakout sessions and panels.
  • Entry to the resource expo.
  • Breakfast, lunch and snacks during the conference.
  • Interactive and recreational activities, including stargazing, pickleball, mini golf and guided hikes.
  • Admission to the social dance, featuring live entertainment from New Mexico music legend Al Hurricane Jr.
  • Free shuttle service between Santa Fe and the Glorieta Conference Center.
