SANTA FE – Registration for the 48th Annual New Mexico Conference on Aging is now open through August 31.
Presented by the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department, the event will take place at the Glorieta Conference Center from September 23 – 24.
This year’s conference theme, “Caring Across Generations,” will focus on healthy aging and caregiving. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in informative sessions, recreational activities and get connected with important resources.
“Whether you are a caregiver, community member or older adult, every generation has something to share,” said Emily Kaltenbach, Aging Department secretary. “The conference creates a space for New Mexicans to come together and connect, share knowledge and strengthen their communities.”
Registration cost is $50 and includes:
- Access to all keynote presentations, breakout sessions and panels.
- Entry to the resource expo.
- Backpack and reusable water bottle.
- All meals and snacks during the conference.
- Interactive and recreational activities, including stargazing, pickleball, mini golf and guided hikes.
- Admission to the social dance, featuring live entertainment from Darren Cordova y Calor.
- Free shuttle service between Santa Fe and the Glorieta Conference Center from host hotels and park and ride locations.
- Free on-site respite care for 18+.
