SANTA FE – The New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) has launched a newly redesigned website.
The updated site offers a cleaner layout, easier navigation, and improved accessibility to help older adults, caregivers, and New Mexicans with disabilities connect with the services they need.
“Our website is often the first connection people have to our department and the vital services that so many rely on,” said Emily Kaltenbach, ALTSD Cabinet Secretary. “We designed this new site to reflect our commitment to accessibility, clarity and compassion, so that every New Mexican can find the information and support they need.”
Key improvements include:
- Simplified menus to help users find services quickly.
- Enhanced mobile compatibility for better access on smartphones and tablets.
- Improved accessibility features that support screen readers and multilingual users.
- Streamlined program pages for core services such as Adult Protective Services, the Aging and Disability Resource Center, and New MexiCare.
ALTSD’s website refresh is part of a broader effort to modernize the department’s communications and digital services, ensuring all New Mexicans can access important information with confidence and ease.
